The Burlington Prosthodontics Centre for Advanced Dental Education is located in Burlington Ontario, immersed within the lively Downtown Core across from the Burlington Performing Arts near City Hall. The interior design of the conference room is welcoming and professional, using a variety of high technological teaching modalities ranging from computer animation, offsite presentations to live video projected on High Definition screens. Each participant´s desk permits didactic and simulated clinical / laboratory aspects during lecture presentations or hands-on courses. The Clinic’s hi-tech dental operatories interface with the conference room during interactive lectures, case discussions and live demonstrations
Purpose
Our mission is to nurture an environment of continuing learning and exchange among dental professionals for enhanced communication and ultimately improved patient care.The Centre is home to Burlington Prosthodontics Dental Study Club which hosts several yearly meetings. Speakers include Canadian and International professionals. Participants to these meetings include dentists and specialists who maintain a close interdisciplinary professional relationship with our clinic. Participation is by invitation. Our focus is on Implant, Esthetic (Cosmetic), Restorative & Reconstructive Dentistry, however, topics covering other specialties such as Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Oral Maxillofacial Radiology and Pathology are also fostered.
